Wanggulay isn’t just for adults – if you’re looking for a family holiday, the kids will love Wanggulay and Wanggulay Too. Apart from making plans as to what time they’ll be hitting the pool the next day and what games they are going to watch, here are some things your kid’s can get excited about before they come to Wanggulay.
Let your kid’s turn into explorers with the Barron River only a short distance away. With a private walkway and a bush track, your little ones will feel like true explorers as they try to catch glimpses of the long-neck turtles that inhabit the river below Wanggulay.
Continue the explorer theme at the Stoney Creek Rock Pools. With four different waterfalls and only a 10 minute walk away, you’ll have fun looking for fish and other little fresh water creatures.
There are so many walking and hiking trails around Wanggulay that the kid’s won’t have time to get bored. We’ve put together a really great hiking guide that you can go through together and choose walks suitable for everyone.
Make sure they keep an eye out for all our wildlife and plant life – a kid-sized camera is a must have for those holiday snaps.
When the kid’s are all swum out, all hiked out and all explored out, we have a table tennis table for a family friendly tournament. Once dinner is done, relax in the lounge, turn on the Apple TV and find something to snuggle down with.
Here at Wanggulay we have everything the young ones in your family could enjoy – from swimming and pool games through to exploring and relaxing, Wanggulay is your perfect, family friendly destination.
